Roygbiv Industries · San Francisco
A boutique EE design studio. Schematic, layout, and firmware for hardware teams who want their product to work — and to mean something.
Tell us about your project →What we do
Clean, documented schematics built for real-world use — not just for the fab.
2-layer, 4-layer, and flex. DFM baked in from the start so your first spin isn't your last.
Embedded software across the full MCU landscape — whatever your hardware calls for.
How we operate
We stay inside the scope we're good at — 2 to 4-layer boards, small to medium complexity, the full design stack — and we do it consistently.
We work remotely with clients everywhere. When a project calls for an in-person bring-up, we're available in the Bay Area.
No account managers between you and the engineers. You work with the people doing the work.
If your project is outside our scope, we'll say so in the first conversation — not after a proposal.
The studio
There's a gap between offshore commodity layout shops and large full-service engineering firms. A lot of serious hardware teams fall in between — too sophisticated for the former, too early or too small for the latter.
Senior-level work, boutique scale, no minimums on ambition.
"We also build our own hardware products. Something is coming."
